Ubique Troubles

“This stuff is freakin’ everywhere,” Jax says, flicking a mistletoe berry off the counter and into the trashcan.

It wasn’t even Thanksgiving, but Galen was already getting into the yuletide spirit, having ordered a special charmed mistletoe that was supposed to renew itself when it began to brown.

Unfortunately, the charm was defective. Instead of renewing itself it replicated. And spread. There was mistletoe all over the café, above the doorway (where it had originally been placed), tangled in the curtains, languishing inside dirty mugs; she even found one stuffed in the cash register drawer.

“I’d rather deal with tribbles.”

Day 21. Letter "U."

Magical mistletoe...could be dangerous if it ends up in the wrong place.

Ubique is Latin for "everywhere." (Hence the tribble reference.)

And just for good measure, here's a picture of Captain Kirk surrounded by tribbles.
