Today's Office Companion

Slinky

He's been keeping me company while I jump (because I can't just view tutorial after tutorial) between exploring a new software program for work and catching up on blog stuff.

I have several of those : )  and one 65lb pup who doesn't understand my laptop keyboard isn't the best place to rest her head. (Hugs)Indigo

I've have another one - a little girl cat - who likes to sit on my laptop keyboard. Especially in the winter. If it's warm, she figures it's for her.

What a handsome guy!  Mine is usually not that well-behaved when keeping me company -- he likes jumping up on me so that I can't see the computer.

Ah, well, when he's asleep is the only time he's well behaved. :)

I love my cats because they remind me to relax.  I always wish I was more like them.

 Your cats are relaxed? :)

Mine seem like they're always running helter skelter through the apartment; one of them actually climbs the walls (well, door frames).

Aw, what a sweetie! I miss those creatures. We're just away too much to have them right now:(

Yeah, that's the only thing. When we travel, we have to make plans 3-6 months ahead so we can get someone to cat-sit. (Especially now that we don't live near either of our parents.) So, we mostly stick to day and weekend trips where I can leave out the automatic feeder/waterer.

And even then, I feel guilty for leaving them by themselves.

I love Slinky! What a cute picture.

I love how my dog Chuck naps all curled up. It calms me to hang out with him when he's chillin'. My favorite thing to say to him when he's resisting one of my commands is "I know, your life is hard."
