About Me

Me, if I were a Mii

If you're anything like me, you always want to know who it is behind the monitor.

I'll give you a brief overview.

I have a B.A. in English with a writing minor and an M.S.Ed in Instructional Technology.

I've written content for many types of audiences, including (but not limited to) human service workers, pharmaceutical reps, and DLI graduates.

I've done some voice-over work.

In 2013, I wrote the script for a program that won Best of the Best/Clinical Category award in the Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA).

I write because I have numerous characters in my head and they have to go somewhere. I write because there are stories to tell, even if I'm the only one who ever reads them. I write because I can't not write.

When I'm not working or writing, I like to read, swill coffee, catch up on television series, game, watch old horror movies, take day-trips, cook/bake, eat Italian food, go on rambling walks, spend time with my husband (and our four troublesome cats), and consider picking up new hobbies that will take even more time away from my writing.
